Going to the dentist

Today I went to the dentist. I was scared but when I got there, there were so many toys! I played with them for awhile. Then it was the time to go to the dentist's chair. The dentist's name was called Mr Rashid Tahir. I watched TV over there while he checked my teeth. He said that my tooth needed an X-ray. He said that when I grew older, I would need to wear braces. I have 22 teeth now. I have 2 permanent teeth now. So, I needed to use adult toothpaste. I wouldn't need to change my toothbrush. I didn't have an injection. The dentist said that I have healthy teeth. I was rewarded a gift. It was a compass. I said thank you. I was very happy because I was not scared at all.

My swimming class

by Bloom
I have a swimming class which is on Friday. I like to swim, but the most difficult part is freestyle because I have to bend my head and lift my arm. My coach is Joseph Khoo. He is very cool. He has a crew cut.

In this picture we are practising freestyle.

racing together

by Bloom

I drew a picture of my friend Brendon Lim and I gave this picture to him. Everyday I chase him back home. The lady with the red shirt is Brendon's grandmother who is saying "bu yao pao"!.I race with him everyday. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I win.

Anderson Primary School song

By Bloom

Anderson Primary School.Where our hopes and dreams begin. All honour and glory. We will bring unto thee. Fulfulling our destiny.Be the best that we can be. Set our hearts and minds a glow. With our sucess we will show. With honesty and integrity. Together we will strive. Anderson Primary School. We will grow strong and bright. With courage and sincerity. We will set our spirits free. Anderson, Anderson. A name we will uphold.

(by Musa: Bloom typed this using what the school calls 'TOUCH typing' which is being taught in her computer class. It's sort of the old secretarial way of learning to type 40 wpm, with a twist to its name. She has a level3 certificate which she printed out herself to show for. I had it Laminated and blu-taced to the wall. We're all very proud of her! Congratulations!)http://schools.moe.edu.sg/andersonps
